Ormond Beach, Florida, United States is fondly known as the “birthplace of speed” since many years ago the town became a place for a proving ground for automobile inventors and drivers alike. Also, it is close to world famous Daytona Beach, Florida. It may be caled the “birthplace of speed”, but there is plenty of time to slow down and relax in this small Florida town. Here are some fun things to do in Ormond Beach: This is a really nice park for kids. There is a picnic area, playground and splash pad for kids to enjoy. It is a nice, clean and well maintained place that is great for relaxing or taking a short stroll along the beach. It is a fun place to spend the day with family.
