He is always the first one on the field and one of the last to leave, dedicating himself to the game and learning how he can be the best goalie. In the eight years I have been coaching I have never coached such a hard working young man. Ean is more than just a hard worker he
Lines 206- 303 Ethos: 207-214 I picked these line to represent Ethos. Athene is telling Achilles to obey her. “'I have come down to stay your anger--but will you obey me?-- from the sky; and the goddess of the white arms Hera sent me, who loves both of you equally in her heart and cares for you. Come then, do not take your sword in your hand, keep clear of fighting, though indeed with words you may abuse him, and it will be that way.
For many years of my life all I did was play soccer. I kicked around a soccer ball in my house, rushed out to the field to play during recess, and then went to practice after school. I was constantly playing and making new friends outside of the classroom. Some of the friends I’ve made playing youth soccer have become my best friends now.
Soccer is a very strategic game and you have to mentally think about each move or play that is being presented because just kicking the ball around isn't an effective method and most times won't result in a Victory. While football does present many plays you must memorize some player have arm bands with the plays one then soccer players don't have this benefit. I'm not saying that football is a easy sport even though players are dressed in full protective gear they can take some nasty hits and easily get up like nothing happened, Some say soccer player are weak because they fall if there ever so slightly touched in their defence those players are trained to do that with hopes of a penalty or free kick which will let them regain position or for a chance at goal. Over all soccer is a much more mentally and physically exhausting sport i'm not saying football isn't any of these football is a tough sport as well but soccer definitely gives and presents much harder of a challenge for people entering the sport a person just entering the soccer realm will realize that soccer may be one of the least easy sports to join most good soccer player have played since they were little and it definitely pays off.
In this instance the opposing team forced a turnover skated the puck into your zone set up a well practiced play, maybe a shot from the point using their forwards as a screen so you could not even see the puck, but as the puck sails into your net glooming looks of disappointment are being conveyed from your team, coach, and half the crowd. You may wonder why someone would want that type of pressure, and I will be the first to tell you that it is not for the faint of heart. Honestly however I love it. And you must love the pressure in order to play this position. But one thing I strongly believe is that no one straps on the pads and instantly loves the euphoric highs, and catastrophic lows that come with playing goalie.
Soccer is the number 1 sport in the world. There are 11 players per team, and 3 major position zones that, when added together creates the possibility of 23+ different individual positions. The 3 major position zones are Defense, Midfield and Forward/Striker. Of all the positions involved, the midfielder requires the most preparation as he/she will be the one on the ball 70-80 percent of the time. Although it is the most difficult position to play there are key steps you can take to become a good midfielder.
About five years later, a new concept of having a goalie was introduced and my coach gave each of us positions to play. So now we weren’t all just running around kicking a ball, we were assigned jobs: center back, midfield, outsides, or forward. My coach at the time,
“I learned about life with a ball at my feet.” What do you first think about when you hear the word soccer? Do you think about the coolest goal ever made? Or maybe the best jukes you’ve ever seen? Well there’s more to soccer than scoring goals and juking people.

Having a captain is a must to a soccer team. With no team captain at all, there is no conduction on the field. The captain of the soccer team can be compared to a conductor in a marching band. He notices how the team will achieve the best and can encounter the goals of the team very well. He designates the team and makes them work to the very best of their abilities .
I learned the language from my coach saying things over and over again. Every day at practice our coach would say some of the of the terms that you have to learn and she would also tell us what they meant so that we would remember what they were. Some of the terms that you have to learn are the positions which are Offense and Defense and those positions break down to mid, forward, defenders, and goalie. The goalie guards the goal, the mid and defenders guard the goalie and the goal at the same time, and the forwards are the people who try to score in the goal. Whenever the referees say something you have to know what it means so that you can perform the task like, if he says “goal kick” then that means anybody from that team has to take the ball and set it on the ground at the goal line and kick it out and then hurry back to their position.
Soccer isn’t just knowing how to pass the ball, it's the fluidity of how well one team can work together, what key components make a team mesh mell, why the teams would strive for perfection, how hard one will be willing to work to put forth their best effort for the entirety of the team, and what will they be willing to sacrifice. It's what separates the talented players from the great players. Passion and drive are important because without it, you can’t ever hope to achieve something you have no desire for. The passion to continue my work, to continue my pursuit in a career of criminology, to strive to be the best I can do all stem from the work ethic that I developed through the teachings of soccer. With utmost passion, everything else will
