Escape from Camp 14 is a bibliography about the main character Shin and how he managed to be one of the first civilians to successfully escape from a Political Camp. As Shin was growing up, he had to face terrible living conditions in Camp 14. Food was always hard to come by, so Shin often survived by eating insects and rats. North Korea is known for their many abominations to humanity. The country is also known for their communist political make up that has abused all of the North Korean people since World War 2.

In the book Nothing to Envy the effects of the failing economy, famine, and the health system on the people of North Korea is shown in the book through Doctor Kim Ji-eun's experience. Many ailments and diseases were explained in the chapter as well as the effects of the economy on the health system of North Korea. Kim Ji-eun's experience will help show the impacts of these various things on the people of North Korea. Examples of rhetoric can also be seen throughout the chapter. The impact of the economy, the famine, disease, and poor health system will be able to be explained during the examination of the personal experience of Kim Ji-eun.
The main author of the article was Sang Hun-Choe. Sang Hun-Choe joined The Associated Press in 1994. He was a graduate of Hankuk University in Seoul and is a veteran of the South Korean army. Before he was in the AP he was a political reporter in South Korea. Martha Mendoza also contributed to the article.
(U) North Korea (NK), although isolated, have developed their own cultural aspects over the decades. The civilian considerations, such as PMESII/ASCOPE, in NK comes in many shapes and forms. The cultural aspects of NK are dependent on and significantly affected by these considerations. The culture of NK varies from the political to the information considerations in PMESII/ASCOPE. The government control these aspects in NK giving little to no civilian involvement.
However, the people, who were excluded, were eventually able to get the voting rights irrespective of sex or ethnicity, and this result could be the beginning for anyone else. South Korea was one of them. South Korea took the United States as its role model and began as a stepping stone to democracy with the rights to vote that should be given out in all genders. It became so fundamental and natural to South Korea. On May 10, 1948, South Korea elected officials in the first democratic way in the election of a constitutional assembly.

Everyone’s knowledge is limited, and entirely controlled by the government. The government of North Korea believes that censoring every part of their society permits them complete control in guaranteeing their country 's future (Yop).
Throughout the history of mankind, nationalism has played a significant role and had major impact on society. Nationalism, especially in South Korea where having a nationalistic attitude is of social norm with deep history, has a substantial influence on the culture and way of life. We have seen nationalism work in favor of the country, however we fail to take into account the devastating drawbacks of possessing this nationalistic attitude. Historical references and current situations shows that nationalism could lead to into major conflict, war.
Observing the time map, there are many free time slots, usually after classes, around 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM and at night 7:30PM to 12:30 PM. Most of the days, there is at least four hours of leisure time. Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays are the days in which there is very little to do and no classes to attend. Those three days have the most leisure time.

It’s my first time that I have listened to the Korean people speak in real situation. These are so exciting experiences. I joined the conference that held at Anseong. So, I have seen other views of Korea that differ from Seoul. Although Korea has advanced technology, but also perfect combined traditional culture.
A city is a good place to continue the further education and to find a suitable job. A city can provide government facilities to its people which makes easy to sustain the life and to perform the task. In addition, the city may be regarded as a relatively permanent concentration of population, together with its diverse habitations, social arrangements, and supporting activities. Cities might differ in cultural aspects and from other types of human settlement and association. Today I am comparing and contrasting my hometown, Kathmandu and the city I am living in, Colorado.
