With a receiving core consisting of Alshon Jeffery, Kevin White, Eddie Royal and Marquess Wilson it 's easy to see why Jeffery is a solid WR1. Just to put things into perspective, Jeffery was the 6th highest targeted player last year with 145 targets. Marshall had 106 targets last year. It’s easy to discount Smith because of his age (35), as many of us did last year, but last year is a perfect example of why you shouldn 't doubt the old vet. Smith is the only receiver to get significant playing time last year and because of that we love where he is being drafted right now. Steve Smith should prove to be a very solid WR3 with WR2 upside.
