The Lake Country Playhouse, located at a latitude of 43.1045 N and a longitude of 88.3442 W, is the most important place in the world. Lake Country Playhouse LCP, a commonly used toponym for Lake Country Playhouse, is nestled among a concentration of small businesses. Being the only theater in a small town with a very lively community, LCP has an abundance of connections to local newspapers, theater lovers, and critics. Well earned reviews rave year after year and play after play at LCP. The Lake Country Playhouse has created a sort of thespian culture in my area, I’m fortuitous as to have been a part of it for so long. I was shy, distant, seemingly unable to establish friendship. I walked into the first rehearsal tasted my lack of words, a bitter, sweaty taste. Although I now know this was all in my head, I could have sworn the judgment in the room was so thick my nose somehow caught a whiff the nauseating stench. As you may have guessed things got better, thanks to being required to spend so much time will the same group of people I managed to break through my insecurities. I put aside differences and put on my big girl pants to develop as a member of society. I made a few friends. That may not sound like an sentiment worth rejoicing over to you, but to the lanky, awkward, ten-year-old Sydney Nelson it meant the world. The friends I made in my safe haven are now some of the best friends I have. LCP “dramatically” broke my out of my shell. In conclusion, LCP changed my life for the better. For that, the small, moth eaten magic playhouse deserves all the praise I can muster. Thank you , LCP, for being a home for me and so many others when we never even knew we needed you. I’m forever grateful to the most important hidden gem in such an unexpected part of the Wisconsin region.
