In the summer of 2014, my family and I packed into the red Chevrolet Silverado. There were six of us in a five-seat truck. We were packed in so tight we could barely breathe. We took on the four-hour trek with excitement to Sandusky, Ohio. We finally arrived. We searched up and down the town to find a room to stay in for the night. At around 7:30 that night we finally found one, after searching for a million years. Our hotel room was a run-down shack on the side of the road. Every few hours the train would come down the train tracks chugging along, sounding its horn, and shaking the hotel room like an earthquake. We got two rooms to sleep in for the night because not all of us could fit into one. The room my mom, dad, and two sisters slept in was hotter than the devil’s room. The big white air conditioner along the baseboards was broken. We finally got settled into our dark, dingy rooms. My mom comes knocking on our door. We hurried up and put our bags away, as we were going to ride roller coasters. We started off easy because I had never ridden a roller coaster before. The first one we rode was called the Blue Streak, and it had been at the park for over 60 years. The Blue Streak was a wooden coaster, so the ride was rough but fun. After a few more rides, we went to eat. We decided to get pizza. The pizza order was put in and we sat and talked about what we wanted to ride next. We all decide to ride The Maverick. Our pizza comes out of the oven red hot. The cheese was stringy. When you picked up a piece of pizza the cheese stretched for miles. We rode rides for hours.
