As seasons change and new problems arise, Design Tech High-School mentors rush to aid of students who struggle from grades to personal issues. Burlingame, CA - March 21, 2017 — Design Tech High-School today announced the grand opening of a new mentoring program for underclassmen. One idea. One act of human kindness changed the scope of Design Tech High-School’s community. When students are stressed and struggling with their own demons, who do they turn to? The obvious answer would be the counselor, but they themselves can only handle so much. So students turn to their trusted friends and peers, and Design Tech was able to pinpoint this concept and decided to cultivate something out of this. “These kids are coming together and helping one another. D.M’s mission is to create an environment where people feel included, heard and supported through their high school experience. It requires kindness, patience and leadership that will ultimately elevate the d.tech community to place where people feel there are an abundance of resources afforded to each and every individual. The d.M experience is an opportunity to mentor dtech community members who are in need of guidance.
