Throughout the story Desiree's Baby by Kate Chopin there are many plot twist ending with an unexpected if not comprehended ending. One of the first indications you recieve when reading this story is that there won't be a fairytale ending. Especially when Madame Valmonde arrives making Desiree realize she doesn't know her past.
