One of the crucial requirements for the Student Enquiry Desk Assistant is excellent interpersonal skills and coincidentally, this is my Unique Selling Point (USP) and I will be using the next three paragraphs to put into context how I have achieved. My active engagement with the Careers and Employability has given me the opportunity to converse with its invaluable staff such as Andrew Walton, Joanne Gilroy and former staff Teresa Corcoran, etc. In fact, I was invited to one of its events in April to give a presentation on ‘’International Students: How to gain work experience in the UK’’ where I was privileged to share with the audience how I got the £1000 Internship bursary and how Careers & Employability has helped me shape my careers by introducing me to Swinton Lock. And up till today, I still volunteer once-in-a-while with this organization, even though, I have completed the Internship.
