The Effects of Destructive Leadership Leadership guides people to have a particular view on changes. Leaders who take advantage of their power are destructive leaders. A destructive leader is a person who is motivated by narcissism. Meaning they show no concerns for those below them, they use fear, threats and violence to get jobs done.
