In the book Night by Elie Wiesel, He explains his horrific experience in Auschwitz because he wants to impact the people in the world and to learn about his experience and his fight on survival and i connected this to the song “Fight Song” by : Rachel Platten. I chose this song because it connects to the book on how he fought and how he is strong for surviving all of the things he went through. For example, “There are those who tell me that i survived in order to write this text”. I connected this because he was able to write this after surviving. In the lyrics “Fight Song” she says, “This is my fight song, Take back my life song, Prove I'm alright song, My powers’ turned on, Starting right now I'll be strong, I'll play my fight song.
Night Final Response The Night is a science fiction story of a Jew named Eliezer who has to survive through the horrible things inside the concentration camps in the 1940’s. Throughout the story, the author shows the reader that there is a theme of silence that comes from people and God alike. One example of silence within the story is the horrors of the concentration camps. The Germans showed propaganda of what happened inside the concentration camps, which led to the Jews’ liberators being scared from what they saw.
In the memoir Night by Elie Wiesel, he talks about his life alongside his father during the holocaust. As he and his father are separated from the rest of their family and forced to jump from camp to camp we see the harsh treatment put on to them from the SS soldiers in charge of the camp(s). The book surrounds father and son relationships greatly as well as highlighting the danger of indifference and of course the holocaust. We can see that through this novel the purpose is to bring awareness to the horrors of the holocaust and how in the end the indifference of the SS soldiers as well as that of the Jews in the camps was more dangerous than Hitler himself. Very early on in the camps the SS soldiers had begun to force the Jews to take the side of indifference towards one another.
A major theme in the book “Night” is inhumanity. In the book, a boy named Elie shares the inhumanities he witnessed and experienced at Auschwitz. His faith and hope is transformed by these events. The Jewish ghetto was the site of the separation of many innocent families.
The denialism motif that emphasizes the theme that humans have a tendency to deny ugly, painful truths is shown multiple times throughout the book. For example, foreign Jews were being deported from the town of Sighet and Elie Wiesel says, "Behind me, someone said, sighing, 'What do you expect? That's war...' The deportees were quickly forgotten"(6). The native Jews tried to rationalize these actions after the others were "Crammed into cattle cars"(Wiesel 6) by saying it is what it is and continued to deny that anything that was happening was wrong.
“From the depths of the mirror, a corpse gazed back at me,” Wiesel 109. This quote relates to the thesis by proving if something traumatic happens it's very emotionally draining as well as physically draining. The novel Night, by Elie Wiesel tells us how inhumanity affects people by being forever traumatized and losing their own humanity. Eternal traumatization is caused by inhumanity. For instance,”The look in his eyes, as they stared into mine has never left me,” Wiesel 109.
Inhumanity in Night “Wild animals are less wild and more human than many humans of this world,” said Munia Khan. The inhumanity during 1939-1942 was horrendous the amount of genocide and torture during that time was astronomical. It was a time that many want to forget and deny. Even when people are controlled, they can still speak up with determination instead of staying silent. In Night by Elie Wiesel, Eliezer is commanded as well as many others while staying in different camps. Wiesel illustrates the destructive effects that silence and control had over all of the Jews. It changes lots of people’s thoughts and changes one’s character. Wiesel also speaks about the courage and strength it takes to get past the dangerous effects of domination by speaking out loud with a voice.
The Modern Day Holocaust Society needs to realize that indifference is a major problem in the world. One reason indifference needs to be reduced is that studies show that it can cause depression or lack of motivation There is people who do not care about the homeless four year old boy sitting on the side of the street weighing less than 30 pounds. Indifference is causing major problems around the world. Many people are being killed, starved or shunned upon by others because someone is not as good as them.
Night Sometimes life may offer unexpected things in an unexpected time leaving us to face with the world that can change for the worse. The world that was once being imagined as a perfect place, for a short span of time can turn into dread, crashing us down so hard that prohibits to stand up again. The famous book “Night” written during the darkness period of time of Elie Wiesel is an autobibliographical book about his brutal experiences of Nazi Germans concentration camps in Auschwitz and Buchenwald that beastly illustrates the idea of life changing moments. His heart touching lesson taught many readers how life, in a short period of time can change every good thing, every dream and illusion into terror.

Millions of Jews were tortured in harsh concentration camps for years as they fought for liberation. However, survival following this genocide was traumatic and difficult because most prisoners had lost most aspects of their lives. After Elie Wiesel’s liberation in Night, his life would be forever different because he has lost all of his family and all of his happiness.

Once, a child Pipel, was hung and they were forced to watch him struggle as he was hung. Since the rope was too big he didn't die instantly and he struggled for an hour and they were forced to see him die. There was hatred towards to Jews, they were blamed for many of the German losses, and they were deprived of the many things that they had.
The human condition is a very malleable idea that is constantly changing due to the current state of mankind. In the memoir Night by Elie Wiesel, the concept of the human condition is displayed in the worst sense of the concept, during the Holocaust of WWII. During this time, multiple groups of people, most notably European Jews, were persecuted against and sent to horrible hard labor and killing centers such as Auschwitz. In this memoir, Wiesel uses complex figurative language such as similes and metaphors to display the theme that a person’s state as a human, both at a physical and emotional level, can be altered to extreme lengths, and even taken away from them, under the most extreme conditions.
