Family Life Cycle The development and growth in humans are affected due to the changes of family life. The family life cycle is a set of stages that individuals passes through that affects their lives positively, or negatively. As an individual begins to age there are many dynamics that affects them. Leaving your parents’ house, going out on your own, and taking responsibilities is part of your family life cycle. According to Broderick, & Blewitt, this is the time to continue to connect with your family away from home (2015). The development of this stage is to connect with yourself in other relationship. The way they view certain situations, and the development of life will be determined by their foundation in their belief. There are many attributes that contributed to well-being, things such as money, personality, relationship, achievement, values, meaning, and religion (Broderick, & Blewitt, 2015). Furthermore, many religious groups may differ in their well-being. Moreover, many people use religion as a powerful coping mechanism (Pargament, & Park, 1997). Not to mention, it gives people a sense of meaning in life. Religion and culture, provides an outlook on a person worldview, in addition, it provides people the basis for the moral codes, and values. For instance, their religion beliefs that they are taught regarding fellowship, cooperation, and pro-social behavior can make religious groups a permanence for social support. Many of these support groups will provide comfort when trouble times are present. Many people find happiness in their religion.
