Responsible for: Managing, supervising, marketing, staffing, conducting membership sales, and scheduling.
Salary: $57,658
Summary: The executive director is told to bring a successful well balanced type of management and leadership to the organization. Also is to bring a strategic plan to make this organization the place to come to.
What to expect:
• Develop and implement a long-term plan to engage and connect people, businesses, and communities to the Dex-Plex. Which makes reliable and timely progress on achieving the mission set forth to the organization;

• Sustain official records and forms to ensure agreement with federal, state and local procedures;
• Keep up a working knowledge of significant developments and trends in the field;
• Network with colleagues both in the Upper Valley and on the state and national level;
• Serve as chief community outreach officer;
• Work with Program Manager to oversee the design, marketing, promotion, delivery, and quality of work being put into the organization;
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
• Graduation from college with a bachelor 's degree in recreation administration, physical education, social work, psychology or closely related field, and two (2) years management experience in public recreation, or any equivalent combination of education and experience;
• One to two years’ experience working in a community recreation facility desired, but not required;
• Minimum of 5 years working in a mid to high-level management capacity with demonstrable supervision and leadership skills;
• 2 years prior experience working with people with special needs;
Special Requirements
• Must possess a valid states Driver 's License: obtain first aid and CPR Certification within six months of employment;
