1-Does the Department of Human Services (DHS) child protective branch provide a system that positively impacts children in their care? Yes, in some case child protective services do prevent fatalities and abuse. They remove children from horrific situations but the process after the removal is questionable. 2-Is it ethical to pay foster parents to care for children temporarily but charges astronomical amounts for to parents desiring to adopt them? If so, how can we provide evidence-based data to support change?
