Years passed. The seasons came and went; the short animal lives fled by. Mr. Jones had passed away in a nursing home. The memories of the rebellion and those who nobly fought for it had long passed from the minds of the animals. The few who remembered it where old and frail. Napoleon and the pigs continued to tyrannically rule, taking all the food for themselves while they did no work to deserve it. These were dark times for Animal Farm.
One fateful morning while the animals were out in the field they heard a great commotion followed by a squeal that pierced the crisp morning air. The animals rushed to see what had made the noise. Upon reaching the origin of the noise they were greeted by a sight that caused their little animals hearts to swell with joy. There before them stood, on all four legs rather than two, Snowball followed by an army of animals from numerous farms across the country.
