Standing in the batter’s box, I twirled the bat once and placed it on my shoulder. As my heart thumped and sweat rolled down my cheek, I raised the bat and exhaled. The score was 6–6 in the bottom of the seventh inning; our team had two outs and the bases were loaded. With the weight of the game on my shoulders, I waited anxiously for the pitch. The softball whipped furiously through the air until it came to a sudden halt; the ball had crashed into my thigh.
It was six o 'clock at the Friendswood junior high mustang field I was playing strong safety and I had to cover the extra receiver they brought out by the snap I was already beating my man and the next thing I know the ball was sailing my way straight to me. I am 13 years old and I am on the Friendswood junior high C-football team I am a second string slot receiver and starting strong safety
Glen Kramon of the Los Angeles Times wrote an article titled “Football at Stanford? maybe not”(Kramon). The main point he is trying to convey through this article is that Stanford's football program is not efficient and there is really no need for it. The tone he uses to express these thoughts is informative, because he uses strong words and information throughout the article to communicate the main point of the stanford football program collapsing. Kramon’s reason for writing this article is because Stanford was a very dominant team 5 years ago,but it is now in freefall.
It’s Friday night and the St. Rita football team is playing Mount Carmel in our homecoming game. Everyone is cheering and having a great time. The St. Rita football team is winning and everyone is exited. As I look around and see how much attention the football team is getting, and how when people think of St. Rita they think of our sports teams. How we have a great sports program.
Football has become very popular over the past years. People are starting their kids to play at the young age of five. It is some people’s main priority to watch on a Saturday and Sunday, and the “Friday night lights” are a very popular thing in high schools all around the country. Some people think the popularity of football is getting out of hand in schools. They are worried it is taking away from the educational aspect of school.
College Football In American Universities November 1961 marked the beginning of college football. Since then, the system has been improved while providing entertainment to millions of people. Steven Salberg writes in his piece to try to persuade his readers to agree with him because he firmly disagrees with the amount of funding that is spent, or rather "wasted." In his opinion, academics are now taking a much lower priority in American colleges because football is now more highly regarded and praised.

This weekend we get to watch a Detroit Lions game! We’re driving down to the West branch to spend some time with our friends. I can’t wait it’s going to be so much fun! My family traveled down near West Branch where we stayed for the weekend with our friends, Brent, Ronda, and their son Brendan.

Football is one of the most popular sports in the U.S. A lot of people love watching and playing football, but don’t know much about where the sport came from or a lot about the game itself.
I fled my stifling home town for Melbrooke City, pursuing a hazy dream of making something of myself. A year later, I’m same old Jenna, working a dead-end job at a diner. Despite it all, I have hope good things are on the horizon for me. Until I’m arrested for a crime I didn’t commit. Locked up in a gloomy room in a precinct, I’m desperate for an escape from this living nightmare.
The sport I chose to observe was college football. I decided to chose this sport because football is a sport my family enjoys to watch. Also I enjoy watching football more than any other sport because there is so much that could happen, in football many unexpecting plays could happen, and each game is different than the last one. The game I chose to watch was a college football game between the University of Notre Dame and the University of Miami that took place at the University of Miami on Saturday, November 11, 2017. The game started with Miami kicking the ball to Notre Dame.
The first time on a football field and i was very hyped about it cause i got to play and the coach put me as starter because i was the biggest one on the field. The very first play we got sacked but are left lineman didn't stop the ball they got pushed over and we got sacked. The ball was on the 25 yard line and we were trying to get to the fifteen yard line to get the first down and we were short 10 yards but we could still get cause if we work hard you play hard.
I enjoyed reading John Foster’s different blog posts about art and design. He covered a variety of different mediums and artists. I really enjoyed the Russian architecture blog post. I liked the sharp geometric forms that were very rigid. One of my favorites was from Gudauta and it had broken tiles in the cement.
