His brother happens to be Agamemnon, and they do what any normal person would do: declare war on the city where the person who took Helen lives.
In the film, Agamemnon, Helen, Paris, all exist, and the background of Paris stealing Helen away is incorporated in the film. However, it is incorporated differently, as no Gods are in the film, and the Golden Apple isn’t even mentioned. Helen is portrayed by Diane Kruger, who is considered one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. That is portrayed pretty accurately (depending on your opinion of her beauty), so they got the looks accurate (again depending on your opinion) with her. Paris is portrayed by Orlando Bloom, who is considered one of the most handsome men in Hollywood (again your opinion can be different), and Paris is seen as the most handsome man in the world, so the filmmakers did pay attention to those details. The problem, is that in my opinion, since they got such big name actors to play the main roles, they focus more on them and their looks, so the story kind of fades away throughout the movie. It still isn’t a bad film, but it definitely doesn’t have strength in the storytelling category. What we have to remember though, is that every filmmaker wants to make as much money as possible, so of course focusing on the celebrities will bring in more viewers. For example, females who aren’t really into action films, but are into Brad Pitt and Orland Bloom, will accompany their significant others who are into action movies.
