Have you ever had multiple bad situations happen to you where you just give up on trying to make them better. Well, Greg the main character in the story, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, always gets put in really bad positions. He gets embarrassed, hurt, disgusted, uncomfortable, and even annoyed throughout the whole story. Greg also changes throughout the story too. This book is about that no matter what situation you are put into, you can still make the best out if it. In the beginning, he gets caught doing the wrong things. An example is when he was cheating on homework and being on his phone when he wasn't supposed to be. He didn't think anything would happen but he did get in trouble with a teacher and the principal. An example is when he doesn't get the part in the play that he wanted but still took the worse part. He took but was embarrassed in front of his school and everyone's parents. His brother started calling him embarrassing names and messed up on his part in the play. Also, Greg was playing with Rowley and accidentally broke Rowley’s arm. Now, Greg is considered bad and mean. This is what happened to Greg during the middle of the story. At the end of the story, Greg was put into bad positions but made them better. Like, when he was being made to fight his friend, Greg said no and stopped it from happening. He was scared of what to do and made the right decision. Also, Greg was made to hang out with a nerd and made it better by just hanging out with him rather then making it worse. This is what Greg did in the end of the story. As you can see, this is how no matter how bad the situation you’re in, you can make it good. Also it showed how Greg changed throughout the story. He was put into bad positions throughout the story but in the beginning he just made it worse, in the middle he made them a little better, and at the end he made them great. So next time you think you can't get out of a bad position, just remember that you can do
