I can shake off everything as I write, my sorrows disappear, my courage is reborn". This quote was made by a young Jewish girl named Anne Frank. The Holocaust was a horrific event from 1933-1945. Adolf Hitler and Nazi took total control of Jewish people just for who they were. This event was happening all throughout Germany. It all started when Adolf Hitler and the Nazis believed that the Jewish people's religion wasn't superior to their own religion, so they started getting rid of anything that had to do with the Jewish religion. It started happening when Hitler decide to exterminate Jews and he made them suffer. Finding light in the darkness means that people have hope, courage, and faith.
First, Anne Frank shows finding light in the darkness because she writes about having hope during this time period. According to The Diary of Anne Frank," I hope I shall be able to confide in you completely, as I have never been able to do in anyone before and I hope that you will be great support and comfort me".
