Anne Frank is a astonishing young girl, known for her famous diary named kitty. Anne Frank was one of the 5 million Jews that died in the Holocaust from January 30, 1933 to May 8, 1945. But the question is How does Anne matures and develops through the course of her diary? Anne Frank’s perpetual feeling of being lonely and misunderstood provides the changes she perceives. In Anne Frank’s writing inside her point of view I feel that she is drifting away from her parents. Considering the fact that her parents always side with Margot every time Anne does anything wrong. When Anne begins her diary kitty, she is a bright-eyed thirteen year old. She likes boys, loves school, and loves spending time with her friends. Upon their arrival at the annex, she is hopeful and optimistic, but over time, you can see that hopeful optimism disintegrate into loneliness, isolation, and deep thinking. Even in her early diary entries, In which she writes about her family, her many friends, and her lively social life. Anne expresses gratitude that the diary can act as a confident with whom she can share her innermost thoughts. This might seem an odd sentiment from such a playful, amusing, and social young girl but Anne explains that she is never comfortable discussing her inner emotions, even around her close friends. …show more content…

As a young girl, Anne is rarely focused on responsibility. Anne’s rapid maturity was a direct result of a harsh change in her environment, from living in a normal childhood to quickly adjusting to hiding in the “ secret annex”. Before going into hiding, Anne was a typical teenage girl, concerned only about herself and her friends, but nearly two years of hiding hastened her maturity.
