There was war going on at this time and soldiers were out, the Frank family didn’t want to get caught so they hide in a house a little bit out of town. Anne wrote a diary every day about what happened during the Secret Annex and her father found it later and published it which is now called “The Diary Of Anne Frank”. The rule is all Jews were suppose to be put in a camp because Hitler didn’t like the Jews. So the Frank family had to hide from the soldiers and also Hitler. The statement says “The relationships between the members of the Annex were often volatile, but they would not have survived as long as they did without one another.” I agree with the statement because it’s true they wouldn’t of survived without the help and support from everyone in the house. They all played a part, they all worked their hardest and they made it far without getting caught. Anne had liked peter for a really long time but didn’t know how to tell him but then they finally started dating. They were an ok couple Anne’s parents thought. Mr. Van Dan thought that Peter and Anne shouldn’t spend there whole time together upstairs in the attic, he said they should interact with her family too.
