How would you feel if you were made to pay for everything? On this essay I'm going to talk about the Treaty of Versaille which was the document that ended WW1 but was the spark of WW2. How did the Versailles Treaty help cause WW2? On my opinion, WW2 was mostly cause because of the Treaty of Versaille, to explain the Treaty, it's the document that ended WW1 by making Germany take guilt for the War and making them pay for war payments, and give up land and power.
How much did the Treaty demanded? The first thing that the Treaty demanded was for Germany to decrease it's military power. Based on Article 160 from document B, “the German Army must not comprise more than seven divisions of infantry and three divisions of cavalry… After that date the total number of [military troops]... in… Germany must not exceed one hundred thousand men, including officers…” Comparing this numbers to the other European countries, this was insignificant.
