The book Fahrenheit 451 takes place in a dystopian society that is filled with advanced technology and books are burned. Families barely spend time together, parents see their children only a couple times a month and families would rather watch TV than socialize. Montag is the main character in the book and his job is being a firefighter; instead of firefighters putting out fires, they burn books with fire. Fahrenheit 451 differs from modern American society because of Burning books, Lack of family connections, and Fake News or misinformation.
