To be in hiding for years, to be shut off from the world: these were the lives of those living during the Holocaust -- or Japanese internment. Anne Frank was young girl who lived during the time of the Holocaust and Nazi invasion. Jeanne Wakatsuki was an internee who lived during the internment of Japanese-Americans. Both suffered during their times of captivity, and shared their experiences to the world. Though the two have differences, their experiences yield many similarities.

Anne Frank’s Legacy There is nobody better at hide and seek than Anne Frank. The Franks lived in a confined space for almost two years with four other people, never once getting to go outside. I hope they weren't claustrophobic. Throughout this lengthy period Anne expressed her feelings through writing. Her journal was named Kitty, to keep her company.

They tortured and forced millions of Jewish men, women, children, including Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank. They both encountered different lifestyles and outcomes but they also have somethings in common. Elie and Anne both went through the Holocaust with their families.
Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank both lived through the Holocaust. Elie spent most of his time at the concentration camp, and Anne in hiding. Although they had different experiences,it is obvious they endured many hardships; however, both Wiesel and Frank lived through life and death circumstances, but their lives ended so differently. Elie Wiesel lived through Holocaust and went to Auschwitz, a concentration camp and was treated badly. Washington post states “when Wiesel was 15 years old, the Nazis sent him to Auschwitz.
Anne Frank and Elie Weisel have some similarities in their stories. They both went to the Holocaust a Camp in Poland, a genocide, killing massed people, etc. Anne Frank spent most of her life in hiding at makeshift quarters, while Elie Weisel at the Holocaust/Auschwitz. Anne didn't survive the camp because of Typhus and Elie survived and made it out. Elie Wesiel was just 15 years old when he was sent to the Holocaust.
