The Red Scare and The 9/11 events caused a lot of trouble in the United States. There are a lot of things about these events that are the very similar. I wasn’t living during these events because the Red Scare happened during mostly the 1940’s and part of the 1950’s and then the attacks of September 11 happened during 2001. It took Americans off guard to see something like those events happen here in this country. One thing that was similar was they caused a lot of distrust with people and because of the government. Red Scare made people be suspicious of each other, thinking they were a communist or trying to spread communism from Russia. In what happened with 9/11, people started not trusting the Arabs and Muslims that were in America.
