394 Words2 Pages
The visions for the new American Republic were seen very differently through the eyes of Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson. They were both founding fathers of the United States; however, they opposed each other when it came to government. Hamilton grew up with nothing, abandoned by his father and his mother had past away. Jefferson was the complete opposite, brought up in wealth and privilege. The two man differences between Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton's visions were economic and political. His interest of His vision was of a nation full of farmers, where local issues were settled locally and only if there was a crisis would the other states band together.
