In the movie Susieś elbow was never found, as stated in the book that it fell out of the body bag that Mr. Harvey had put her body in after he killed and chopped her up into pieces. The book was very descriptive about what specifics Harvey did but in the movie none of that was talked about, just skipped through. A keystone was kept in the book by Harvey, in the movie it is a little house charm. Towards the end of the story, an icicle hits Harvey on the head and that is how he dies in the book. In the movie it hits him on the shoulder, the then gets scared from the hit that he slips back and off the edge of a cliff and dies.
During the 1960's, To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee was a best seller almost immediately after it was published. To Kill a Mockingbird was a book about prejudice and segregation. When the book was made into the movie the creators couldn't fit all the details in the movie leading to some similarities and differences. " It follows the life of Chris McCandless, a charismatic twenty-something-year-old, who decides to leave his comfortable suburban lifestyle to travel across the country straight out of college and eventually live a life off of the Alaskan backcountry. Driven by his idealist views, he breaks ties with his family and embraces the natural world surrounding him. However, his acts lead to his demise and consequently cause varied opinions about the adventurer. While some sympathized with McCandless, others castigated him for his selfishness and foolishness.

The trial was a crucial scene in the movie that displayed strong, well-devised, and included many exceptional actors. On the contrary, some important moments, people, and lessons in the book were removed from the movie that created a different meaning to the whole story. Calpurnia and Dolphus Raymond were two main characters in the novel that taught valuable lessons to not only Jem and Scout, but to readers across the world. These characters should have been more integrated in the movie to build a stronger more meaningful plot.
