The Book Where The Red Fern Grows is a good book for everybody. It's also good because some people would rather read and some would want to watch. The People also made a book and a movie, but there's a lot of changes. Where the Red Fern Grows is a 1961 children's novel by Wilson Rawls. The movie maker made 2 movies in 1974 and 1992. There's a difference between the movie and the book. The book tells you all the details and the movie only tells you the importance of the story. Sometimes the movie will change the story, and it will make a difference. Reading the book was easy, I could understand it better and I could follow along with the book. In the beginning of the movie it already had a few changes. The movie changed a lot of things, but you still would understand it. The book and the movie are different things, some people would actually like reading the book because it's easier for them, other people would rather watch the movie because they can understand it better. Reading the book was easier for me, I understood what the book was about. Watching the movie was ok because it told us the important part of the book, but it skipped a lot of things. They were different because in the book Billy had 3 sisters and Billy had a scarecrow as a trap to trick the raccoon. The movie skipped all those things and I thought that that was important because they removed one of the family. In the book Billy didn't do school work and in the movie Billy did. When Billy got his dog, They all slept in a cave and in the movie they slept on the
