Imagine a child asleep and comfortable in a warm bed, suddenly in a low roar, the voices of people walking down the street can be heard. These voices all chanting about the abuse their people have endured. However, the focus is not on these people, nor their race or religion but on how they respond to their issues. With violence or nonviolence, how should any child be awoken? Naturally in a nonviolent or technically diplomatic way, now imagine the sleeping child as an intolerable situation. With the desire to change this in the hearts of the people the best way to make that change is with diplomacy and patience. But what exactly is diplomacy? Diplomacy is being capable of dealing with or talking to other people in a sensitive and civil manner. Back to waking up the child or drawing attention to an intolerable situation when waking a young child is it better to viciously shake the child awake or to coax from its slumber. …show more content…

An intolerable or unfortunate situation is the same both in the way to approach it and how to deal with it, with diplomacy and nonviolence. Why should these people use such a dull and time consuming tactic? Both statements in that question are true taking a diplomatic approach is very dull and extremely time consuming for those against and for the situation. Being diplomatic can be drall by having to stand and hold a sign or waiting to sign a petition is always boring but whenever the lives and well of an entire people are on the mind it can be absolutely worth the wait. A question that many have wondered and may be wondering is, how can waiting for change or protesting for it be better than fighting for change? Well
