A bureaucratic organization structure is defined as a form of management that has a pyramidal command structure. (Cronkhite, 2013) It is very organized with a high degree of conventionalism in the way it operates. (Cronkhite, 2013) These organizational charts exist for every department and decisions that are made through an organized process, especially when dealing with employee relation concepts. (Cronkhite, 2013) This form of leadership is the oldest form of leadership. It is the foundation of all organizations because, in order to become a leader, one must create rules and regulations, which according to our reading it the pyramids of order which, can be copied easily. (Cronkhite, 2013) I chose to do this assignment on Shelby County Government Division of Community Services. The Bureaucratic leader of this organization is Mayor of Shelby County, Tennessee Mr. Mark Luttrell; the Director of Community Services is Dorcas Young Griffin.
