CSH tries to create strategies and partnerships in order to fund and establish supportive housing projects across the country. The reason why this system work for many veteran is because having a house give them a push to start their life again. With the financial support they receive with these home that CSH find for our veteran, they can be relief of not worry about finding somewhere to stay for the night and start to focus on that next step they need to take in order to obtain an independent and stable life. It combines affordable housing with services that help people who face the most complicated challenges to live with stability, self rule and dignity. The reason why many people believe in prioritizing to promote and support the corporation of supportive housing is because of the positive impact on health, employment, treatment of mental illness, and ending substance abuse. According to the CSH research on the result that CSH has had so far it shows positive impacts on health, since the decrease of more than 50% of veterans occupying the emergency room visits and hospital inpatient days. For positive impacts on employment there has been an increases of 50% in income and 40% in the rate of participant employment when employment services are provided in supportive housing. At least a third of those people living in the streets and shelters have a severe mental illness. Therefore, the best way to end homelessness with the veteran community is for the government to support CHS, since it has been proven to help many people more importantly veterans who are low income and suffer from sever mental illness like
