Having two best friends is wonderful, but we all know how horrible it is when they fight and you become the mediator. Upon working out the drama and hear two different stories. Likewise, the film and book, The Great Gatsby have a vast discrepancy between them. Not only did Luhrmann have the nerve to leave out a major piece of text , but also one of the most important quotes. Daisy cries “how could anyone get married in this heat”.
