Discrimination & Inequality Is Discrimination and inequality a problem in our society today? Today we face many problems in our society one to many to count. We are all human correct? So we should all be treated equal and not be discriminated for who we are or what we like right? When were just babies we all look at another one just as human we play and hug each other because that's what humans should be able to do without discrimination. But that's how we were raised to differentiate one another. So this is how our society will be because that's also how it was raised. Where does discrimination and inequality take place. It can take place anywhere in school, public places, even just walking down the road. It can be in someones everyday interactions. For example someone who is a different color skin than another can be discriminated from another person just because of their color. When it goes to the seven african americans that were being held back from moving up and being discriminated for their color to lee buniak not being able to participate in school activities, yes discrimination and inequality is a huge problem in our society. Not everyone will experience these problems in their life but someone around you is experiencing these problems everyday. Whether the person is being discriminated for their race, color, their culture, the things they like, or it be their religious beliefs. Someone is going through it. This problem needs to be fixed. Everyone is human and we all deserve to be treated equally. There is a saying “ treat others how you want to be treated”. This saying says a lot. Don't mistreat others because of who they are, what they look like if you don't want to be treated that
