Have you ever wondered about the civil rights movement? During the civil rights movement there was many causes and effects. Some of the causes include discrimination and segregation towards African Americans. Another cause was violence with the white people beating up the African Americans. In addition, laws were changed which ended discrimination. With the civil rights movement the way the African Americans and people from different cultures, they way they have been treated has changed.

The white people would enter the bus through the front of the bus and the African Americans would go to the front to pay and would walk around the bus and then get on the bus. The African Americans would also have to exit through the back while the white would go through the front.Another cause is that the white people people and African Americans had different school. The white kids would go to an nice school with new books and a nice bus to ride to school and back. While the African Americans would go to a old building with everyone in one classroom. The African Americans had to use the white people kids old books and they had to walk to school and they had to walk home. There were no grade levels for the African Americans. The African Americans had to bring a can of food and put in a big pot for everyone to share. They also had to bring their own cups and spoons. The white people peoples had their own kitchen and they did not have to bring their own food or their own cups and spoons.
