Throughout history, the Revolutionary War has been seen to be caused by political and economical issues. In my opinion I believe the causes were more economic than political. Although most say it was caused by political issues, I disagree and believe the main reason was the economy. I believe it was more economical because Britain had taxed the colonies for unnecessary items, enforced laws only allowing the acceptance of Parliament, and only buying products from England. Britain and North America’s thirteen colonies had conflicts regarding the government’s power. The British government needed to raise money in order to pay their war debts, so they began to put higher taxes on items in the thirteen colonies. The taxing of the colonies
