I woke up from what I thought was knocking on my window, but froze when I realized it was coming from my mirror. Then I relaxed as I remembered that these things happen all the time here in Disney World. I walked out of bed, sleepy eyed and tired. As I walked down the steps I pondered on how could one be afraid in the happiest place on earth? It was summer and since I was family of the man himself, Walt Disney, I got to stay there all season long. I’m sure some people think that the rides get old. They don’t. They are a blast of fun every time but there is one thing about these rides. Since I live here most of the time I’ve been able to examine things more closely. I see things that the most dedicated fans don't see; the park is haunted. …show more content…
on low volume, so not to wake my uncle. I woke up from the low buzzing sound next to my ear; startled and fretful. My memories flooded back to me. I snuck past my uncle’s room and creaked open the door to the outside. I lurked through the park belonging to the dark shadows of the once illuminated place. It was eery and I had a shrill sense of insecurity. The lack of sound almost made the place echo. I went to my favorite ride in the park, The Haunted Mansion. It was, ironically, one of the most haunted places in the park. I always see a little boy there when we ride. I knew the ride well enough to start it on my own. I too basically owned the place. I walked through Tomorrowland and a cold breeze swept past my body. I walked casually. It happened again I and I went into a full sprint. I saw Space Mountain and I fled down into the different winding halls that seemingly sent me into space. Later, after I found the exit of the winding labyrinth, I was walking into the terminal, where I’m sure all the guests earlier were completely livid because of the wait, when I saw a pale looking figure. It looked like his body was frozen in ice but was only just recently thawed out. The ride whooshed to life and the lights went on. I went in the car seats to investigate when suddenly the safety clamps went down. It felt like they broke my legs , and I was forced back into my seat. The ride zoomed off and I found myself going through space and then the rides lights flickered and the guy behind me turned into a big nightmarish monster. He lunged toward my neck and pressed his thumb into my trachea. I grasped my neck and felt the air leave my body. I gasped for air to no avail. I passed out reliving the horrible memories over and over again. I arose from my slumber to find myself in a Small World. I tried to escape but the gates went up at my approach. The only way out was through the ride. I switched the ride to life and got myself in the big boat. I went through the entrance and the theme began slowly and I saw the dolls. Instead of doing what they did culturally they all stood on
