As a teacher, my goal was to make a difference in the quality of the education and services I was providing to my students. As the years progressed, I realized that through my teaching I was making an impact not only on my students but also my colleagues. I am interested in the position as the Coordinator of Educational Services because I would like the opportunity to apply my experience as a District TOSA and as a teacher to support the district even further by coordinating, planning and implementing special programs and projects that will best serve the needs of all our students and teachers. I coordinate and support the Physical Education program by creating and managing site schedules and providing support and professional development opportunities. I coordinate and assist in the development and implementation of the MSD STEM Certification program and Math Teacher Tuesdays. I successfully coordinate the ordering and distribution of district instructional materials by acquiring quotes from publishers and vendors and ensure that the district remains under the allocated LCAP budget. I develop and maintain records that organize site material needs at the beginning of the year, which aid in the district passing the annual Williams Audit. I develop and monitor yearly expenditures for instructional materials and online curriculum. I design lessons for the Summer STEM Academy and Long-Term English Learner summer programs, as well as gather and organize the essential materials for each lesson. I also provide support to site IPC’s and teachers with lesson planning and implementation of the district adopted
