Setting Description; the Hub
This is where the “Choosing Ceremony” takes place. The Hub is the tallest building in Abnegation, which was once called the Sears Tower and it is the most important structure in the heart of the city. The Choosing Ceremony takes place on the 20th floor in the Hub. It’s set up as a concentric circle. When you walk in, you can hear the loud voices of the amity and other factions. Tris is very brave, from being the first jumper to being ranked first in the initiation. When Tris landed on the net after she jumped, many people were shocked since she was Abnegation (Abnegation don’t run or fool around because they says it’s selfish to want attention) from before, her instructor, Four also asked her “Did you get pushed or something?” Tris also courageously had climbed a ferris wheel with Four during the first stage of initiation. It also took a lot of bravery when her and Four tried to stop the simulation attack from the Erudite. Many people think about her extreme bravery as her throwing herself into danger. More than once, she had also told herself that she would rather be dead than Factionless.
Tris has a lot of determination. When she first came to Dauntless, she was the second last on the score board. Every morning, she would wake up early and practice determined to reach above the red line on the score board. Four has tattoos just like every other person in Dauntless; He has tattooed the symbol of each faction on his spine, starting from Dauntless at the top, then Abnegation, Amity, Candor and Erudite. He has a scar on his chin and his hair is almost black in colour. His fingers are long and slender; his forearms are distinct for physical activities and very pronounced and he has a few freckles in his
