Introduction: Violence has been wild spread through difference kind of media. Both non-fiction and fiction media source do a great source to the society and someone claim that the violence through media will do great effect to our society, especially to teen. Through this assignment, I would use movie as the main focus source to discuss the movie’s violent affection to the society and the hate crime/violence within the movie. As the movie selection, I would use “Django Unchained (the 2012 version)”. Since the movie is about black slave and America black slave history, it will do a great source to explain the hate crime/violence. The history-based movie are mostly about the unequal history within a country, and the most famous history background maybe slavery. The slavery history is one of the darkest history within America history. Within the slavery-related movie, the slave are mostly suffer from hate violence and have to fight for their freedom. The hate violence the slaveholder are from both psychology and physical. There is no doubt that the slave have the right to fight for their freedom. But behind the hate violence, the intension of doing the hate crime is little mentioned. The environment of the slaveholder grow, work, etc. are all little-mentioned. No hate is grow from nowhere. There is definitely a/some source making them to hate and torture the slave. Within “Django Unchained”, main character, Django, try to escape from the slaveholder serial time and fail. As the result, Django and his wife had been sold to the other slaveholder sparely. Django was free by Dr. Christoph Waltz and walked the revenge path. And why the movie have much violence in it? These are the question we have to ask. The first thing is, the violence have become so common that everyone think it is normal. To catch the viewer eye-sight, the publishers have to “put more violence”. The violence within movie is much realer and much brutal than normal situation. It makes the viewer believe that it is now the real world go. What more, the movie has more death sense and fighting scenes than the movie in the past. These are the reason that the teen may get used to these violence and think these violence are acceptable. Since the adolescent had got used to these violence, the publisher have to make it much violence than before. These violence movie will do long term effect on children and adults. For example, the people who see these movie a lot will start to think violence is right and violence can actually solve everything. The people will also started desensitization about the environment. These people will think the victim of violence are weak and show no care on them (Medved, 1992). As famous director Allen Pacula
