When it comes to children socializing, they are mostly spending their time with their families. Family members actually assist them with academic activities. This is more common in rural areas of Djibouti. Only a small percentage of children in the rural areas attend low academic schools. These areas are very poor and only these particularly areas speak in their indigenous language. On average, at the age of six until sixteen will get educated. These low academic schools have limited school supplies, resources, there is a high rate of absent educators, and the distance between their home to school is often far apart.
