The holocaust was one of the worst events in the history of mankind. Adolf Hitler and his Nazi party killed over 6 million innocent Jews in a dozen years. There was a tribute museum open for all the Jews that lost their lives in the holocaust. In the text the author uses both objectivity and subjectivity equally to get his point across. The objectivity is used to give the reader factual evidence on the topic. The subjectivity is used for the reader to understand others feelings and thoughts on the subject. Other articles could have used only objectivity to get the point across.That would only present the reader with facts and no other emotions or feelings. One thing that was said was "In 1933, there were more than nine million Jews living in continental Europe. Within a dozen years, two-thirds of them would be dead." This excerpt shows that within 12 years of the holocaust hitler and the nazis managed to kill 6 million jews. Another piece of objectivity used in the article is when they said Jews were “systematically exterminated”. The text uses very vivid words to really give the reader an image for what it was like.
