“Half the jobs in the nation pay less than $34,000 a year, according to the Economic Policy Institute.” This shows that multiple people in America make less than $34,000 a year, and they have to feed themselves and their family on that salary.

This shows that there are many people that are in poverty, yet we still spend 100’s of billions of dollars on space exploration, when we should be spending it on the poor and homeless.
