Lili is an out spoken thirteen year old and also the owner of Hagen who starts off as a quiet reclusive girl who just wants to get by while away from her mother. Lili is staying with her father here at the time and that is where this movie also takes place in Budapest. Lili goes through so many obstacles aboard this shipwreck. While trying to do the right thing, things still go for the worse for Lili.
Lili is being played by Zsofia Psotta and her father Daniel In the movie is played by Sandor Zsoter. They are both very outstanding actors with their own down falls but still line up enough for this movie to work. Zsofia’s acting is outstanding as Lili actually portraying how a teen would really feel in this situation , a father just trying to get by in between a broken home and the drama and problems that already come from school she portrayed these difficulties to a ‘T’. The trumpet was show in the beginning when Lili was riding her bike throughout the empty streets and throughout the movie with her which ended up being the saving grace in the end when it felt like there was nowhere else to turn to. Hagen remembered just through the sound of the trumpet that he was “okay” again she wasn’t going to hurt him. This was so inspiring to show how every dog may have their day but when a bite of home hits them there right back where they belong back under are
