19 year old kid wonder “The Boy from Bowral” Donald George Bradman excels in his first-class debut match for NSW at Sheffield Shield in Adelaide.
The young man and NSW were up against South Australia, going head to head in the gentleman’s game. He concluded with a historic 118 runs, making him the twentieth Australian in history to achieve a century in their first-class debut game. He showcased the main aspects of his natural game – quick footwork, confidence and the ability to score runs in a hurry.

What would be rather unusual is that Don just a couple years ago, gave up the game of cricket to pursue two years of tennis, however he came back into the game two years ago, and by the looks of it, is in tip-top condition to make his mark on the game and at this rate, history.
Close friends and family describe Don as a great friend and they say he is a great sportsman. He plays fair and hard, and hardly ever badmouths anyone. A very respectable young man.
