Throughout history, there have been many great entrepreneurs. Some have started without money, but they built their way to the top. While others have wealthy families, but they made themselves millionaires. An example of a great entrepreneur is Donald Trump. He grew up wealthy, but he became a billionaire creating his own projects. Donald Trump is an excellent example of how to be a successful entrepreneur.

Trump renamed the company Trump Organization. Trump moved to Manhattan in hope of new developments. When the Pennsylvania Central Railroad went bankrupt, Trump obtained the railroad on the west side of Manhattan. With the property, he sold it to the city for a city convention center. In 1974, Trump bought one of Penn Central’s hotels, the Commodore. Even though the hotel was unprofitable, it was in a good location. NBCUniversal pulled Trump’s shows, The Celebrity Apprentice, Miss USA beauty pageants, and Miss Universe pageant from their company. Even though Trump Organization was affected, it is the 48th largest private company in the United States. In 2016, the company made $9.5 billion in revenue. Also, the company employs 22,450 people. Trump had to step down from CEO of his company in order to focus on his presidency. His two sons, Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., are now the CEOs of the Trump Organization.
