I choose Brown Mackie College after much deliberation and comparison with other schools. I first had to research what career path I wanted to pursue. I was kind of stuck in life not knowing what I wanted or what I wanted to do. I finally came to the conclusion that I want to be a Veterinary Technician. The next step was to find schools in this area that offered that program.

As a matter of fact, telling my guidance counselor I hoped for USC Upstate to be the school I attend was a surprise. In all the senior meetings she had, I was the only student who even considered USC Upstate as an option. However, that didn 't stop me from looking. I like being able to
Fallacies are something to be aware of in our daily lives as hidden agendas may be lying around. Fallacies have to do with the reasoning of the argument that makes it misleading or invalid. If you have strong feelings for an argument, it may be hard to avoid fallacies in your writing. In the essay, “College Is a Waste of Time and Money”, Caroline Bird states reasons of why college is a waste of time and money. Although Bird’s essay may seem like a sound argument, fallacies in her essay distort the argument.

It was eyes opening to see that these students are motivated to learn. Scholarly, I can relate these students to the book A Hope In the Unseen because these students are similar to Cedric. They live in a poverty area where the education system is low and the dropout rate is high. However, they are motivated to learn. This shows that there are still and we can change that by helping other people.
A core strength of the Loma Linda University Program is their capacity to seamlessly weave Christian values into an advanced medial education program. The medical profession absolutely could benefit from having professionals who come from a strong academic background, but it also needs professionals who strive to uphold Christian values within their daily lives. The values I’m referring to are characteristics such as compassion and integrity. Human compassion is at the very heart of the medical profession. It is the compassion that is nurtured by nurses, PA’s, and physicians which transforms the clinical and overwhelming medical world into something more humanistic and comforting.

If someone told me that I would be a dance major and study at The College at Brockport during my sophomore year of high school, I probably would have thought them to be crazy. Dancing was never meant to be in the picture and it was something that I stumble upon towards my final weeks as a sophomore. I had a choice to between tennis or taking a dance class to fulfill my P.E. requirements. I eventually chose dance and it create a new path for me. Being satisfied with accomplishments only sets people at a certain level of grit for a lifetime. People can never grow more round as a student, athlete, or character without taking shots in life. As a student, I was always great at academic level classes by earning and receiving high grades. Until I was recommended for Dual Enrollment United States history, I had never understood how much extra work I had to put in to be successful and grow in that college level class.
With the year-round pressure pertaining to college applications on high school seniors follows the impending decision of choosing an appropriate college major. Generally, the decision-making process involves prioritizing one field of interest over another, however, due to globalization and constant innovation in technology determining a college major has increasingly become the modern day equivalent of the metaphorical line between life and death. Even so, the obvious choice would be the prestigious STEM fields over liberal arts due to the instant job opportunities which are seemingly ludicrous to a recent graduate. Nevertheless, liberal arts education should be encouraged to be pursued at higher education institutions in USA because it helps
I am confident in my decision to study mechanical engineering. I plan on majoring in mechanical engineering because I love math, solving problems and being creative. I am currently taking an ap calculus class at school and attending Lapeer Education and Technology center for the second half of my day. I have been attending Lapeer ed-tech center for 2 years now where I study CAD mechanical design. I have learned parametric solid modeling, worked with 3D printers and am currently learning code for
This decision may seem simple enough, but before the student knows it this decision launches them with huge force into a journey they never could have planned for. This decision propels their lives in a whole new direction, it influences who they meet in college, what they do there, and how they spend their time. Now that we have come to comprehend the gravity that this ripple has, we must ask ourselves what influences which way the wave will go, there must be some method behind this seemingly mad throw in the dark.
