The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson published in January 5, 1886. In Robert Louis Stevenson’s novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde the key characters are; Dr. Henry Jekyll, Mr. Edward Hyde, Mr. Gabriel John Utterson and Dr. Hastie Lanyon. This novella is set in London during the Victorian era. The main conflict is that Dr. Jekyll is trying to keep Mr. Hyde, his darker side, under control. The thing that I liked throughout the book was the plot of the story and how it didn’t show the secret of the relationship of the two characters in the title.
