In “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by Robert Louis Stevenson, Mr. Hyde is the personification of Dr. Jekyll’s evil desires. While Dr. Jekyll is technically both personas, I think that he is a good person with good intentions. Dr. Jekyll created Mr. Hyde to unleash the suppressed feelings he kept inside; he was now free from social contract, could overindulge in dark urges, and was free from moral consciousness.
