The difference between an assassination and murder is that an assassination is an action of assassinating someone and a murder is an unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. These are the difference between an assassination and murder. On April 4, 1968, Martin Luther King Jr. was shot standing by a balcony outside his room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. Martin Luther King Jr. was in Memphis to support a worker, but was on his way to dinner a bullet struck him in the jaw and severed his spinal cord. Dr. King was pronounced dead after his arrival at a Memphis hospital. Martin Luther King Jr was 39 years old when he passed away. The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. was unjust because he was fighting for equality and was nonviolent. However, some people believe that Martin Luther King Jr. had too much power.
At the beginning, Martin Luther King Jr. was fighting for equality. Dr. King was fighting for equality because he wanted everyone to be treated equally.
