He brightened lives with his creation from his world while facing issues in the real world. Dr.Seuss made books that inspired people of all ages, and made stories that got children into reading. In 1954 Houghton Miffin and Random House asked Dr. Seuss (Dr.Seuss Biography, 2015) to write a book with 220 vocabulary words for children to raise reading levels for children. The result was The Cat in The Hat, which extremly helped kids learn to read. Over time the book became very popular over time and became his most popular book. Seuss had some some really big challenges to deal with during his life. Growing up, because of the fact that Dr.Seuss was german he wasn’t the most loved person. This was because world war II had just ended (All About Dr.Seuss, 2004). After illustrating comics for a while Dr.Seuss to respond with wonderment and awe at books. Not too soon after Dr.Seuss wrote and illustrated his first book, And to Think I Saw it on Mulberry Street (All About Dr.Seuss, 2004).
